Dan Pugel, owner of Journey Counseling, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky. Wi​th more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Pugel has worked with people of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds.

Dan holds a B.S. in Psychology from Toccoa Falls College and received his M.A. in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary.

He enjoys reading, biking, golf, and guitar among other hobbies and recreation. Dan has three adult children and lives in the greater Lexington area.

“I consider myself a general practitioner covering a broad range of issues experienced in the daily lives of children, adolescents and adults.

We're all messed up and everyone has struggles in life. Once we accept this we can get on with change, growth and healing. We all need help along the way.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose
again.

He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church
("followers of Jesus Christ around the world"), the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
